With 23 years of experience working in the environmental and fire management industry, Brett has had an extensive public service career in both SA and NT working for Department for Water (DEW) and Bushfires NT.
Brett is widely recognised for his knowledge and experience in bushfire mitigation, response, and emergency management throughout Australia. Internationally he is recognised with 3 deployments to North America.
Brett has worked with many agencies and stakeholders to develop and deliver fire management programs including fire management plans, detailed risk assessments and emergency management planning, prescribed burning, fuel mitigation plans, policies, procedures, and Nationally Accredited Training packages.
Qualifications
Sue-Ellen has been in administration positions throughout government throughout her entire career, from a trainee all the way through to supervisor roles. Her expertise in policy and procedure is vital to the running of SA Bushfire Solutions.
Sonia has over 19 years of experience in accounting and tax. Jobs included BAS and tax preparation, financial reports, payroll, payroll tax, bookkeeping, accounts payable, small amount of fringe benefits tax and general administration support.
She has sound knowledge of MYOB, quickbooks, and quicken, as well as accounting software MYOB AE Tax and Handisoft.
Sonia recently completed her Cert IV in accounting and bookkeeping which has allowed her to become a registered BAS Agent.
Britnie has been in the customer service industry in varying roles for 15 years.
She joined our team in 2021. She has a passion for Digital Marketing. She is undertaking her Diploma of Business.
We engaged Brett to conduct vegetation management and a BAL assessment while we were having planning difficulties with the Council, CFS and other agencies. Brett’s expert advice and vast knowledge is allowing us to progress with our build and obtain a BAL rating that accurately matches the risk our property presents. His BAL assessment report is one of the most detailed and thorough reports I have seen compared to other agencies we have been dealing with. Brett was professional, on time and performed the required work at short notice and to a high standard that we were after.
